The Coach Who Never Stopped Believing

How One Park Financial's Dreamweaver program gave Victor the resources to fund his seven-on-seven flag football team, turning his passion for mentorship into a real opportunity for every kid in his community, regardless of their financial situation.

Victor Emanuel knows what it feels like to be a kid with a dream and a community that shows up for you. As a coach, a mentor, and for some of his players, a father figure, he has dedicated himself to being that presence for the boys on his seven-on-seven flag football team. But for a long time, participation depended on something that should never stand between a child and an opportunity: money. The Dreamweaver program changed that.

"It allowed for me to have every kid participate and not a select few depending on financial need."

With the funding secured, Victor's team could travel to tournaments, build bonds off the field, and simply enjoy the game the way kids are supposed to. No one was left out. No one was told the answer was no. Every player had a seat on the bus.

For Victor, this was about more than football. It was about giving his community the same experiences he had growing up, and proving that someone in his corner believed in what he was building. After more than three years at One Park Financial, that belief runs both ways. A company that invests in its people's passions, he says, is a company worth showing up for.

And every Saturday, on that field, surrounded by his team, Victor shows up completely.
